Christmas Banner

One of the fab new items in the Autumn/ Winter catalogue is the fantastic banner kit.  I highly recommend it, it can be used for anything, birthdays, retirement, anniversarys, weddings anything.  I've used mine for Christmas and I got it from my wonderful upline Monica

I'm sorry but this project is very product heavy but well worth it I think.

The banners have been inked in gold using the sponge daubers, The letters have been cut out and mounted onto snowflakes cut out using the framelets in glitter cardstock, with a vintage button added for detail.  The rosette has a small glitter snowflake and is topped off with one of the frosted finishes.  The papers are from the season of style set and the ribbon ruffled at the top of the banner is the cherry cobbler stitched edge grosgrain.

In the middle is a bow again made with the season of style papers using the Gift Bow Bigz L die and hanging from that is two more snow flakes which are finished off with the frosted finishes.

More Christmas Fun

It seems like madness talking about Christmas in all this heat lol but here we go again, today I'm going to show you some gift tags, now both these sets have been retired which I'm very sad about but I'm keeping hold of them because I'm a fiend for making my own gift tags, I like them to match either the card I've made and/or the gift packaging, so here goes

Aren't they cute!!!  They are of course made using the two tags die, oh why oh why have stamping up decided to get rid of this, it's one of my all time favs and is well used. I think I've seen something similar on either pinterest or someones blog, I just can't remember where though so unfortunately I can't give you a link :-(  Lets have a closer look.

I've embossed the whisper white card with the Northern Flurry embossing folder, which you can still buy.

I added a little bling to the tree using the rhinestones

This little chap is my favorite he is just too cute with his blinging buttons lol

Hope you liked this early taste of Chirstmas,

Christmas in July!!!

Yes I know, I know, Christmas already, but in my defense I promised myself I'd be organized this year and not doing things at the last minute.  However I've only made one card so far lol so I'm still not organized, ah well the thought WAS there :-)

It uses the Ornament Keepsakes set from last years Autumn winter catalogue which is being carried over to this years autumn winter catty Yeah!!!Even better they also have framelets to match!

Lets take a closer look

I've added some pearls to this one for a bit of extra pop

And of course no card is complete without a lovely insert

Pop Out Ornament

I've been really busy this week making little items for a craft fair, I have this terrible habit of leaving everything thing till the very last minute lol.

Anyhoo I've made this pop out tree ornament, which can double as a gift tag;

So it starts life like this all folded up and kept in place with a button and then transforms into this;

Sorry about the picture quality but I'm using my dad's old camera.  I used the Serene Snowflakes stamp set, Cherry Cobbler ink and I stamped onto very vanilla card.  It's very simple to make and there is a you tube tutorial for it here.

If you require any of the items used to make this project please email me.

Diorama Card

Well here I am again with another card we made at stamp club this week, I've seen several of these on the internet but I've made mine a Christmas card.  Yes ladies and Gents it's that time of year when we should be sensibly thinking about getting are Christmas cards done and dusted although if you're anything like me you'll be doing them all the night before you plan to send them out :-/

And it's so simple to male, as you can see I went a bit made with the spritzer spray..  I've used the Apothecary Art stamp set, Framelets, Little leaves die, itty bitty punch set, pearls and Cherry cobbler card which I topped off with some Always Artichoke seam binding tied in a bow.  There is a lovely little, tutorial of how to make these cards here.

If you'd like to order the items used to make this card please email me your order

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas

Well it is in our house at the moment anyway :-) I've been getting together my swaps for our quarterly training and I've got them finished with a week to go would you believe!!  Yes I know Miss Disorganised here is pulling it together with time to spare! Mark this date in your diary it'll never happen again lol.  So here are my swaps, I mentioned I was doing these in an earlier blog;

My kitchen smelt Divine after heating all these tea lights as they are vanilla scented, I have also made a little gift bag to carry them all in ;

I used the broadsheet alphabet for the candles, and the Pennant Parade for the bag along with the Petite Pennants Builder punch. I've used Garden Green card and ink, Crumb Cake ink, and  Riding Hood Red card and Ink and also the Decorative Label punch.  I have also added either Cherry Cobbler or Always Artichoke seam binding ribbon on the candle packs.
