Craft Inspiration

Well I've had quite a busy weekend, I've helped my son write a fact file on me for a project he is going to do at school, then I have been busy crafting some items for my next craft class on the 18th February, please email me if you would like to come along and join me.  I have also found out that I'm in with a chance of obtaining certain bonuses based on my sales, so a big thank you to all my lovely customers, I could not do it with out you.  Stampin up is a wonderful company to work for, they have lots of awards for your achievements which are very obtainable, they make you feel really appreciated.  I can't recommend this company enough to people, I've never been happier.  If you'd like to join stampin up as a demonstrator why not email me and we can have a little chat and see if it is suitable for you.

Now to today I've been busy working in secret making something special for the lovely and long suffering Ray or Ray Ray as we like to call him.  I must thank Monica my up line who has made something very similar and gave me the idea to do this for Ray.

Well here it is;

No no not my ink pads!  The little gift bag! ;-) It can hold lots of yummy chocs for Ray.  One of his most favourite things  is chocolate, he is a chocolate fiend, he really is.

Have a closer look at the stamped image;

I used the Petal Cone Die to make the bag then used the Rose stamp from the You Are Loved stamp set to stamp onto the bag itself in Real Red, unfortunately the camera didn't pick up that detail, I also used the heart stamp from the You Are Loved stamp set and punched out the smaller heart using the heart punch, I used Pretty in Pink ink for that heart and for the sentiment which is from the You're A Gem stamp set.  I inked the edges of the small heart in Real Red ink and inked the edges of the sentiment in Pretty In Pink Ink.  I then added two pink paper roses and some seam binding ribbon as a handle in Rose Red.

This was very quick and easy to make so I'm sure you'll all have a bash at it.

Happy crafting

To start with I settled for the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set, and I made this little card.
Have a closer look at that lovely stamp there is so many little things within in it's design every time I look at it I see something new.
Not only is it a card it also holds a small lip balm, lipstick or mascara inside it.
How cute is that? I stamped out the main image and greeting in Cherry Cobbler used Pretty In Pink card stock which I embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, added some Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon and just finished it off with some paper roses.  Very easy and quick to make and makes a very lovely gift for someone.

Craft Club Makes

Well what a lovely morning I've had busy crafting away.  We've made two projects the first being these tissue holders

I love these, they where made with the Mocha Morning papers and the owl and bird punch.  You can get 4 tissue holders out of one 12 x 12 sheet of Mocha Morning paper, these papers are lovely as they are very tactile. Heres Jackie beavering away on her tissue holders;

We also stamped and embossed some candles

We used normal church candles, gold embossing powder and the Everything Eleanor stamp set.  Want to make some lovely projects likes these?  Then why not join me for my next craft club on 18th February email me to book your place, I'd be really happy to see you.

Well thats all for now see you soon

Hugs

Workshop Planning

Well I've been busy playing around with ideas for a workshop I have on Friday.  I love doing workshops it means I get to play around crafting with lots of ladies and call it work!  Can't get better than that.  Any way this is what I came up with it's a little envelop card

Isn't it cute and ideal for Valentines day as you can see I've made the main stamp image 3D here take a closer look.

I did this by simply stamping the design out 3 times then cutting a little more off each time.  And here's what it looks like inside.

There are two little pockets inside where you can add a sentiment and a little gift.  There is a video tutorial for this card here.  I really enjoyed making this.  I also like to give a gift to my lovely hostess for allowing me into her home, which I always make a gift bag for;

I made this one using the Mocha Morning Speciality papers, these are so tactile they are truly wonderful, trouble is you don't want to use them they are so nice.

See you soon

A Thank You

I'm always excited to get followers on my little blog but can you imagine how excited I was when Dr Sonia joined us from India. She has her own blog here and I highly recommend it, she has some really stunning projects there.

As many of you know I've only been a Stampin Up demonstrator since October, it's the best thing I ever did, I get to craft and call it work! With this in mind I had decided I wanted to make something for my upline Monica who has been very supportive and a great inspiration to me so here it is;
I made this lovely card using the Everything Eleanor stamp set, I also made this to go with it;

It's a little 2012 pocket diary.  Well once I'd started on this purple theme I couldn't stop, I've a friend who loves these colours so I made her a birthday card similar to Monica's thank you card and also made these;

The Necklace was made using the smallest charm from the new simply adorned range in the new spring mini catalogue and I got the idea for the little gift bag to put it in from Monica she's made and instruction video on how to make it, which you can view here.

If You'd like to become a demontrator please email me and we can have an informal chat on what it involves and whether it's right for you.

Have fun crafting and see you soon.
