Blog Hop

ooohhhh How exciting!! A sneeky peek at some of the items available in the new Spring Mini Catalogue!

Can you imangine how excited I was?  Now down to business you should have arrived here from Sue's Blog.  What have I made? Charms and candles!

So heres the picture of one of the new charms you can buy from the spring mini catalogue;

PAPER: Crumb Cake
INK: Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip
STAMPS: New Charming Stamp set, Broadsheet Alphabet
TOOLS: Sponge Daubers
ACCESSORIES: Simply Adorned 2.5cm x 3.2cm Charm
DIRECTIONS
These make such a lovely gift, the front side is bevelled as you can see and the back is flat.  For the front I used the script stamp from the new Charming stamp set, I stamped it in crumb cake ink then stamped over the top using the Broadsheet alphabet set, in Chocolate chip, I did the same on the back using the butterfly and Create stamp from the new Charming stamp set, then inked the edges of the design.  So easy and simple yet a lovely gift for someone.  Even better is the fact that Stampin up provide you with a little template inside the charm making it easy to size your card/paper.

And here are the candles;

INK: Versamark
STAMPS: New Charming stamp set
TOOLS: Heat Gun
ACCESSORIES: Stampin Emboss Powder
DIRECTIONS
Aren't they simply devine.  I did have a problem with these as they are smaller candles to what I'm used to working with, but it all came right in the end.  I used the Charming stamp set again and gold Stampin Emboss powder.  Just stamp your design onto tissue paper using the versamark pad, add your embossing power, heat this carefully untill the embossed image comes through, then simply heat the tissue paper onto your candle. TIP: Church candles work best for this.

I hope you enjoyed this and now to can hop on over to Lindsay's Blog to see what exciting things she has in store for you.

Let it Snow

Do you remember this time last year? A lot of us were buried under snow, I know I was, the snow was past the top of me wellies!

So in honour of that I've made this card
I used the perfect pennants die to cut out the tree then used the perfect polka dots embossing folder on it, added  doilies from the Doily triple layer punch and stamped the back ground with Serene Snowflakes stamp set.  Added a greeting and there we go. A snowy chrimbo tree! I'm entering this to the Simply Stampin Snowflake Sparkle Challenge
