Four Feathers Bundle

Hello dear readers

I'm back after a lovely half term break and today sees the weather finally break here in deepest darkest Yorkshire.  There was actually a frost this morning! I had to get the scraper out on the car ready for the school run.

So onto today's card which uses the four feathers bundle, it's perfect for that simple classy kind of card.

I've used whisper white and soft sky and stamped the feather with the encore silver stamp pad.

The framelets that come in the bundle mean that there is no fussy cutting to do, perfect.
The sentiment uses the teeny tiny sentiments set and the word window and modern label punches, I hope you like it, the items used are listed below.

Camping jolly Holiday

Hello Dear Readers

Back again!  I hope today finds you all well. Today I want to share with you a card I made for my son's Scout Leaders.  These unsung heros put in so much work with the children, giving up their own time willingly and without pay, whats more they also take them away for a weekend camping! Very exciting for the children, relaxing for parents, but a lot of hard work for those lovely leaders!

So after taking Scotty too Hotty away for a weekend and all the organizing and planning that must have gone into that, the least I could do was send a little thank you card.  This card uses the Lovely as a tree and The great outdoors stamps sets, perfect for making camp related thank yous and uses Tempting Turquoise and whisper white card.  I used spectrum noir pens to colour in the images.

If you would like to purchase any of the items used to make this card please click on the links below which will take you directly to my shop.

Happy Water Colour returns

This is another of my fav stamp sets, well to be fair I love most of stampin up's stamps sets lol.  Now this is a great card if like me you'd rather stroke and admire your nice 12 x 12 papers instead of using them as it only uses  a very small piece.

Here's the card;
see only a very tiny bit of paper.

I have used;
Happy Water colour stamp set
Water colour wonder papers
Decorative dots embossing folder
Whisper white card
Basic black ink
Tangerine Tango card
Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set
Word window punch
Modern label punch

Start with a C6 (A5 folded in half) card base in Tangerine Tango
Cut two pieces of whisper white card measuring 14.4cm x 10 cm. Emboss one of them with the decorative dots embossing folder and leave the other plain.
Glue the embossed piece to the front of your base card and the plain piece to the inside of your base card
Cut a piece of water colour wonder paper 5cm x 11.4cm, a piece of white 5.7cm x 12.1cm and a piece of tangerine tango 6.4cm x 12.2cm.
Stamp the poppy from the Happy watercolour set onto your water colour wonder paper in basic black ink.
Layer this up onto the white and tangerine tango card you cut earlier.
Add this to the front of your base card with foam pads
Add a sentiment

Hope you like it. If you require any of the products I have used today, please click on the links below which will take you directly to my online shop.

By the sea shore

Hello Dear readers

Hope you are well, today I thought I'd bring you a little bit of summer, I must say I'm hankering after some nice warm weather and I always used this stamp set when I need a little boost.

A very simple and quick card to make, all that needed adding to it was a sentiment.

It also has a clever use of the scalloped tag punch
There is instructions on how to make these tag cards here
