A Lovely Sunny Morning

I'm getting too used to these sunny mornings, although it was quite cold here in deepest darkest Yorkshire.  There was mass excitment this morning in our house as I thought I was going to be filmed this afternoon, only to check my emails to discover the camera man has been delayed in New York lol Just my luck.

Anyhoo I wanted to share with you a project we made at craft class on Thursday, which was a Tea Caddy

Yes I still have that very scruffy grid paper lol. In my defence it has all my notes on it.  This lovely little tea caddy is perfect for the twinings individual tea bags.

The flower on top is made using the blossom punch, the papers are the tea for two DSP perfect for this project

Here's a close up of the stamp which is from the Tea Shoppe set,  I've also used, crumb cake, soft suede and Island Indigo.

A Fellow demonstrator has just started up a little monthly challenge, this months challenge is a colour challenge,

A Man's View

Lots of excitement in our household over the last week as I brought a new car!! It has Automatic windscreen wipers and lights!!! Is it very sad that I'm so excited about that? lol heres a little pic

Photo: New car!!!!! With lots of shiney buttons!!!!!

Just look at the colour, tempting turquoise, I loves it!  I've named her Clara.

Right now back to business I'm going to show another card I got in the kit from Bekka, I think this particular card would be perfect as a mans card.

I've used the honeycomb embossing folder on this, it also uses chocolate chip, tempting turquoise and some of the polka dot dsp, the sentiment is from the perfectly penned set, which also comes in the kit from Bekka I know that she is still offering these so if you would like one email her at bekka@feeling-crafty.co.uk

Some more extcting news for you, stampin up is having a colour refresh, here are the new colours, some as you will see are previous In Colour options

Dress you up

Well the weather is full of rain this morning so very gloomy here in deepest darkest yorkshire :-)

The card I'm going to show you today is another that I received in Bekka's kit. It uses the the Dress up framelets from the spring mini.

I've used the polka Dot DSP and daffodil delight card.  On the front here I've used the perfectly penned stamp set and one of the roses from the vintage trim.

Again I've used the polka dot DSP for the dress this time in rich razzleberry and crumb cake card for the body, I've added a little bit of Baja Breeze ribbon and another vintage trim rose around the waist.

Here is the greeting inside, again using the perfectly penned stamp set and stamped in daffodil delight ink

Bye for now

Awaiting summer

Apparently double figures at the weekend, I really hope so, really fed up now with the cold weather :-( although the sun is out today and it's warmish lol

So here's the card I'm showing you today

Lovely and so simple to make, it uses Crumb cake, soft seude and some of the lovely polka dot papers.  The happy birthday is from the perfectly penned stamp set which has been stamped in rich razzleberry.

Here's a look at the inside

I've added some bling to the butterfly on this one.  This is one of the cards I got in a Spring kit from Bekka Prideaux, which also included a lovely birthday album to store the cards in. I thoroughly recommend purchasing this if Bekka is still offering it on her blog

More Easter Lovelies

Well I've got my last Easter gift to show you, and some good news! my weather guru friend assures me that warmer weather is on it's way for the weekend!! So come on people dig out your sunglasses, shorts and sun loungers lol

I made this for Ray Ray, using the artisan set from the spring mini.  The box frame is from The Range.  Now I saw this somewhere but can't remember where I'm not sure if I saw it on pinterest or if I saw it in the demonstrator mag Impressions. So no link I'm afraid.

More exciting news though, Stampin Up are refreshing their colour palette! And here's the new colours

You'll see that some are old in-colour samples such as Wisteria Wonder (My fav!!!!) and Blushing bride and some are all new such as soft sky and smoky Slate.

Well that's all from me

More Easter Treats!!

Well the sun is shining here in deepest darkest Yorkshire and I feel good!  I'm quite sure that I am responsible for this sunny weather after I painted my nails yesterday in these sunny vibrant colours

Look at those babies! lol I need me sunglasses on now just to look at my nails! But at least it's coxed the sun out of it's hiding place as it now feels the need to compete with me ;-).

Anyhoo enough of that silliness on to more easter teats for Scotty too hotty

A little carrot and a bunnies bum lol.  This was made using the petal cone die.

Here's a better look at the leaves on top.  I'm very grateful to fellow demonstrators Emily and Carol who gave me the idea for this, thanks girls.

Wot no chocolate?

Nope none for me as I'm trying to diet lol not the easiest of things to attempt right at Easter I must say.

This is a card I totally stole from pinterest, I just loved it as soon as I saw it, I've made a few tweeks to it, like using the two tags die to stamp the bunny on and using one of the fancy brads from the new spring mini.  I made this for Scotty too hotty's teacher.

Here's the inside

I love that cute little chick!  I'll be back soon with some more Easter shares
