The card uses the two tag die, soon to be retired and the daisy from the best of flowers stamp set.

Yes I know it's an old song lol but I was being rather uncreative again with my headings.  Very busy in the Keating household and with any luck we will be moving, so fingers crossed.  Should I go slient on here you'll know it's because I'll be in a packing frenzy lol

So today's offering is a rosette, I was given a similar one at out Telford training as a swop and loved it so decided to recreate it.

I used the rosette die to make this but you could just as easiliy make this on your scoreboard.  I've added the lobster catch so that it can hang from your bag.

The leaf is from the bird builder punch and the butterflies are the elegant butterfly and the bitty bitty butterfly punches.

Best of Flowers

Morning lovely people, I hope today finds you all well.  Lots to do here today from house hunting to making bath bombs lol

Today's card uses the Best of Flowers stamp set, It's one of the sets that Stampin up are using to celebrate 25 years.  They will be releasing one set per month until October.  This months set is Best of flowers and includes some old favorites and one never before seen stamp, it costs £13.95 for 4 stamps.

Again I've used the En Francias as a background stamp on this and teamed together the colours Baja Creeze and Chocolate chip.  I stamped the flower in chocolate chip as well then coloured it using the stampin write markers.

Bit of a closer look for you

The sentiment is made just by punching out two of the decorative label cutting it in half and sticking the chocolate chip to the ends of the very vanilla.  Simple yet effective.

Well the rain has arrived here in Yorkshire, I thought this might get rid of some of that mugginess that's been hanging around but alas it has not.

I've used pool party and soft seude again on this one, I've layered up the flowers by stampin then cutting out the large and medium flowers from the set, again I've used the En Francias stamp as a background and the sentiment is from the Bring on the cake stamp set.  I've added a few pearls to the center of the flowers and too the top right hand side corner.

Everything Eleanor

Bit later posting today as I've been watching CSI that I sky + last night.  I'm a great fan of Sky + mostly because I have a terrible habit of falling to sleep when watching stuff lol.  This way I don't miss anything.

So todays little offering uses the Everything Eleanor stamp set.  This is an idea I totally cased from Pinterest.

It's just a pack of 4 card toppers very simple to make yet very effective, lets go through whats been used.

This is using the two tags die , I've stamped the front of the tag with the flourish from the everything Eleanor set and used two of the flowers, I've then punched out an oval and a scalloped oval and popped on the sentiment.

This one uses the lovely Designer Rosette die, then it was just a case of inking the edges with pool party and popping on the sentiment which the use of punch circles and a scalloped circle

This topper uses the oval punches and the smallest flower from the stamp set, I've also added some leaves from the bird builder punch

Then last of all is this little offering, the base of it is from the stamp set, stamped in pool party then over stamped in soft suede with the flourish, I've also added a couple of pearls.

I added this piece of card to the top of the pack to just finish it off

Here's whats been used

A Wedding Gift

Well the sun has got his hat on this morning, lets see how long it will last for.  Scotty too Hotty had a staring role yesterday in his teachers Assembly, not sure altogether what he did and by the way he explained it I'm not sure he did either lol.

Anyhoo on to todays offering, which is a gift to match the card I showed you yesterday

It's a lovely pottery heart that I have stamped using Melon Mambo ink and the 'Tiny Tags' stamp set.  Have a closer look

It was very easy to do, however I think you would have more of a problem stamping with wood mounted stamps as there is no give in them like the clear ones I have used.  This set by the way, is retiring.

Of course I had to make some pretty packaging for it

A bit closer I think

It's a simple thing to make just using the top note die, the En francias stamp a scalloped circle and some paper roses.

Here's what I used

Stamps
En Francias
Tiny Tags

Card
Very Vanilla
Old Olive

Ink
Melon Mambo

Stampin Up Accessories

An extra post

I know I don't normally blog on a Monday but I've been extra productive so have lots of projects to share with you.

The card I'm going to share with you today is a wedding card I've made for a work friend who is tying the knot in August

I've chosen the colours Melon Mambo and Old Olive because, on her invitations she had some Melon Mambo Ribbon and flower, on asking her what her wedding colours where she explained she was having a lot of green for the table decorations.

Heres the sentiment, I've double the decorate label by just cutting it in half and adding it to the ends like I did with the modern label I've shown you before

The dress and sentiment are both from the love and laughter stamp set, and I've used the distressed dots for the background, unfortunately  this is retiring :-( and so is the vintage wallpaper embossing folder that I've used to emboss the oval framelet.

Here's the products I used;

Stamps
Distressed Dots
Love and Laughter

Card
Very vanilla
Old Olive

Ink
Melon Mambo

Stampin Up Accessories
Big Shot Machine
Framelet Ovals
Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder
Decorative Label Punch
Old Olive Scalloped Polka Dot Ribbon

Yes again it's a 6 x 6 card, pop back tomorrow and I'll show you the little gift I made to go with the card. If you'd like any of the items to use this card please email me at debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk

Lets have a Pool Party!

I'm very excited as Mr Brown (UPS delivery man) will be arriving today with lots of goodies *whisper* from the new annual catalogue due to be released in July.  Keep your eyes peeled on this blog and I'll share a few things with you, but shhhhhh don't tell ;-)

On to today's card which I totally cased from pinterest you can see that card here.  I was pinning loads of stuff and never using any of it so I've now decided to use it as an inspiration station.

I love this colour combination of soft suede and pool party, the ribbon used here is some that was available during sale a bration and the candy is from my own stash.

The flowers are from the secret garden stamp set, and have been stamped in pool party, I then inked their edges in soft suede with a sponge dauber.

The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny sentiments stamp set, to get the double effect with the modern label punch you just punch out two, cut the ends off one and stick them to the ends of the other one, I'm not sure that makes sense lol

I liked this colour combo so much I used it on some hostess gifts;

Here's a closer look

I've used the En Francias stamp again, it's just so good as a background stamp, I think that at the moment it is my favorite stamp

Here's a list of the Items I used

Stamps
En Francias
Secret Garden
Teeny Tiny Sentiments

Card
Soft Suede
Very Vanilla

Ink
Pool Party
Soft Suede

Stampin up Accessories
Big Shot
Secret Garden Framelets
Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder
Top Note
Scalloped Circle Punch
Modern Label Punch
Scallop Trim Boarder Punch
Pearls

Again it's a 6 x 6 card, sorry but I really do like that size, If you would like to order any of these items then please email me at debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk.  Now I'm off to iron school shirts.  Oh the glamour lol

A Vintage Feel

Well the weather has taken a change here in Yorkshire, still warm but very cloudy.  Hope it's a bit nicer where you are.

Todays card has a very vintage feel to it, it uses crumb cake and very vanilla with a sprinkling of Pretty in Pink and Baja Breeze

Now this is a 6 x 6 card, I must admit this is my favorite size as you will have seen,  So that makes the matted layer of very vanilla 5 3/4 Square.  This is slightly too large for the En Francias stamp that I've used as the back ground.  So to line it all up I used the stampmajig to line it up.  Now this is a new tool to me in the past I've just lined it up by eye, but since I've brought it I don't know how I ever got on without it. lol

Here's what I used to make the card

Stamps
En Francias
Teeny Tiny Sentiments

Card
Very Vanilla
Crumb Cake
Pretty in Pink
Baja Breeze

Ink
Crumb Cake

Stampin Up Accessories
Big Shot
Elegant Bouquet Embossing folder
Elegant Butterfly Punch
Itty Bitty Butterfly Punch
Fancy Flower Punch
Word Window Punch
Modern Label Punch
Boho Blossoms Punch
Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
Owl Builder Punch (leaves)
Gems

Wow a lot of product there sorry.  I hope you like the card and if you would like any of the products to make the card please email me at debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk

Well what a day yesterday, sun blazing down, dare we believe that summer is now here?  Scotty too Hotty went off to school with hat and sunglasses and loaded down with suntan lotion, He also went with 6 bars of chocolate to share with his class as they are doing a project on chocolate, not sure how they will have fared in a hot classroom though lol.

Now I'll apologize now for today's project as it is product heavy which wasn't my intention I think I just got a bit carried away lol

These are little hostess gifts that I've made

Here's a closer look, I've used the top note, enfrancias stamp, Inked up the vintage wall paper embossing folder to get that effect on the scalloped circle, I've also used the elegant and itty bitty butterfly punches and the blue flower is from the itty bitty punch pack.  Colours are pretty in pink, baja breeze and crumb cake

Here's a list of items used

Stamps
En Francias

Card
Crumb Cake
Pretty in Pink
