Well we were treated to a day of rain yesterday and it's still raining today. This makes me suspect that Yorkshire water will be telling us there is a hosepipe ban in the next few days ;-) How are you all lovely people, I hope the weather is better where ever you are.
So today I want to share with you a broach
I got the idea for this from a swap I was given at the recent Telford training. It's very easy to make using the bird builder punch. You just layer up the bird shape then on the top layer I've added the wing and colours which are chocolate chip and Cajun craze. I've popped on a gem for it's eye then covered it with crystal effects and added a broach clip to the back.
Here's what I used
Paper
Not quite navy cardstock
Whisper white
Ink
Chocolate Chip
Cajun Craze
Stampin Up Accessories
Bird Builder Punch
Gems
Crystal effects

Anthony's Colour Challenge Two
I have no idea what I was thinking when I made this card, I must have had some kind of brain malfunction lol, look you'll see why
Green roses? really? lol In my defense the colours are summer star fruit, lucky limeade and gumball green. Hence the green roses.
I even put one inside so much was my brain malfunction that day lol. If you'd like to join the colour challenge you can do so here
Here's a list of what I used to make this lovely green combo lol
Stamps
Stippled Blossoms
Bring on the Cake
Paper
Whisper White Cardstock
Summer Starfruit
Ink
Lucky Limeade
Gumball Green
There is a tutorial for the triple/double stampin that I've done on this card here If you would like any of the items used to make this card please email me at debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk

Teeny Tiny Thank you
I hope you are all well dear readers, today I want to share with you one of the make and takes we were given at the Telford training.
It's a lovely little card holder made with the two tag die. The flower was made with the fancy flower punch and has one of the incolour Delilahs as a center.
The small cards where stamped using the clockworks stamp set and the teeny tiny sentiments, and me being me I had to make envelopes to go with them.
I made the envelopes using the tea for two papers,

What can I say but Stampin up have done it yet again!!! You can now directly order from me ONLINE!!! How cool is that? This by no means replaces my workshops you can still book those with me and make orders at my classes if you wish. To order from me you just need to go here. You can also read this blog there too!!
Now today I wanted to share with you a lovely gift my upline (this is the person who recuited me to stampin up) Monica gave me at our recent training at Telford.
Lets have a closer look
Inside was a bone folder, with a bling up bottle top for decoration
Here's a closer look at the bottle top
It's simply divine lol of course I then had to bling up all my other stuff to match
I've run out of bottle tops now so I've ordered some more so that I can bling up the rest of my stash!!
Don't forget if you would like to order anything you can now do so via the shop tab on my website

Fun at Telford
Yes you read that right, fun at Telford. Last Saturday I joined Stampin Up's regional training event at Telford, and my did we have a laugh, these trainings that stampin up put on for demonstrators gives you a chance to meet other demonstrators from all over the country, a great place to get ideas and meet new people.
Heres a picture of some of our team together, now when demonstrators get together like this, they make cards, tags or 3D projects to swop with other demonstrators, here are mine.
A Pack of lovely scented candles
With a little stamping and some ribbon. These are very simple to make, I just used the tea for two papers which I LOVE!!! and a little cellophane bag to pop the candles in.
We were told lots of BREAKING NEWS!!! at training which I will share with you over the coming weeks. If you would like to join us on our next training and become a demonstrator then email me at debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk or simply click on the "join me" tab on this blog.

This and That memories
Well I'm sure by now you've heard all about Stampin Up's new Scrapbook/smashbook called This and That, it's ideal for scrapping and journalling on the go, or for those of us scared by big scrap book layouts. It's a great size being A5 and fits perfectly into your handbag, it has pockets and envelopes for storing items too!!
So let me show you what I've done with mine so far;
Here's my front cover, now that lovely rosette on the front is made with the paper you get with the This and That journal bungle, lets have a closer look
I made this using the rosette die from stampin up and aren't those papers just divine they also match perfectly with the pages inside the journal.
I wanted to make my This and That Journal into a memory book for Scotty too Hotty, filled with pictures of my mum and her parents,
This is my granddad with my mum when she was a baby, I hope he's not about to plonk her into that bath behind them lol
On this page is pictures of my granddad when he was a young man, on of which is of him in his army uniform
I'll share more pages with you as I work through the journal.
If you would like to order the this and that journal or bungle please email me debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk

Flutterbye candle
Well we're all set for a scorching bank holiday weekend, the BBQ is all ready and prepped so fingers crossed.
Today I'm going to show you another stamped candle I made, I love doing these as gifts because they are very simple and easy to make yet look lovely.
I made this for someone at work who is making a lot of home made items at the moment and she wanted to see what the candle looked like made up.
Heres a close up, I used one of the small butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri set, I stamped them on to tissue paper using Calypso Coral and Island Indigo, I stamped her name in Calypso Coral using the Simply Serif Mini Alphabet. Its then just a case of placing it on the candle and gently heating until the tissue paper bonds with the wax, after that I added some gems to the butterflies.
Here it is all wrapped up and ready to go;
It's just a cellophane bag finished with one of those lovely tags from my last post and some Island Indigo ribbon that I got free during Sale a Bration.
If you would like any of the items I've used here please email me your order debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk

Challenge
Well what lovely weather we've been having, makes a change lol Today I'm going to show you two tags I made for a challenge being run by fellow demonstrator Anthony Warwood, you can join in the fun here The chanllenge this month is to create something using calypso coral, pool party and gumball green, now I had made a card to start with but somehow it went missing before I had chance to photograph it :-( so I started again and made these tags ;
I've made them using the two tags die, First Edition DSP, Papillion Pot-pourri stamp set, the butterfly punches and of course I've added some bling and pearls .
The flowers where made using a die I have, before I rolled them into a flower I inked the edges with pool party and calypso coral ink. The leaves are of course gumball green.
And heres the butterfly, for the larger butter fly I simply stamped on to whisper white card stock and punched it out, the smaller butterfly was stamped on to the first edition papers then punched out. and I added some bling to the butter fly. I also inked around the edge of the first edition papers on the tag and the tag itself as you can just about see in the picture above. The ribbon used was free during Saleabration! I really love these tags and made a few for gifts, hope you like them too.
If you'd like any of the items you see here please email me your order debbie72keating@yahoo.co.uk
