Papaya Collage Part Two

So heres the next lot of cards I promised from the tutorial which you can buy from Jenny Moor

This is the first of three cards, on this one Jenny had used the new in colour DSP because I didn't have any I instead used the primrose petals card and embossed it using the Vintage Wallpaper folder.

I love this card it's just so pretty lets have a look inside

The 'ghosting of the leaves is just by just stamping twice more without re-inking.

This is the last card from the selection I hope you like them I think they are very pretty and although I've stamped happy birthday on all of mine they could also be used as get well cards, anniversary or mothers days cards.

If you would like to order any of the items to make these cards please email me

Papaya Collage Stamp set

At Last the snow has gone!! All that snow we had on Saturday night, what surprise to wake up Sunday morning to find it all gone.

I'm going to show you some cards from the Papaya Collage stamp set, now I got these cards from a tutorial that you can buy from Jenny Moors, she does quite a lot of tutorials so it's well worth popping over to her blog to take a look. Some of the cards also use the Memorable moments stamp set.  I've tweeked the ones I've done to suit my purposes and instead of using DSP I've used card that I've embossed using the vintage wallpaper embossing folder.

The first card is a gate fold as you can see, on the tutorial it has 50th where I have added the butterfly lets have a look inside

Isn't it just lovely?  It uses Soft Suede, Raspberry Ripple, Very Vanilla and Primrose Petals  card, Inks used are Soft Suede, Raspberry Ripple, Old Olive and Primrose Petals.

Here is the next card again it uses Soft suede, Very vanilla, Raspberry Ripple card and Soft Suede, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals and Olive inks

Heres a look inside,

I'll pop back tomorrow with the rest of the cards from this set, please feel free to email me if you wish to order any of the items used to make these cards.

Quadruple Easel Card

Well we had about 2 inches of snow last night, and more to come, we've had worse so it's not so bad, no digging out needed at least :-)

Well today I'm going to go through a tutorial of a quadruple easel card for you, here's the card.

I've used Melon Mambo and Old Olive as my colour combination and the stamp set I used was the By the Seashore set, the sentiments are from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, I've used the large Vintage Faceted buttons as stoppers but you could use you sentiment as a stopper instead.

So lets get on with making it, you need to work in either inches or centimetres  do not combine the two or your card will not turn out as you hoped.

1 First you need to cut two pieces of card one measuring 18cm or 7ins square (this is your base card) and another measuring 17.5cm or 61/2 ins.

 Matt and layer these together

Cut four peices of card 8 x 15.5 cms 3 x 6 ins for the easels. Crease and fold each one in half and then take the outer corner and fold it down to the left. Make sure all the folds go in the same direction.

Cut some contrasting card  card 7cms 2 3/4ins and adhere them to the lower corners of each easel.

4 I then added a slightly smaller layer in whisper white which I had stamped my image and sentiment onto before hand.

On the bottom of each easel I have added foam pads to raise them up from the base, and then carefully pressed each one into place on the outer edge. All are facing out so that the recipient can see each panel as the card is rotated. I then added the vintage faceted buttons as a stopper.

Hope this all makes sense to you, remember you can make your card in whatever colour you choose, if you would like to order any of the items used to make this card please email me.

Sale a Bration Sneak Peek 6

How cold is it?  I've the heating running at full blast and I'm still cold!! Luckily we didn't have too much snow yesterday but it is very icy out there.

So on with my next offering from sale a bration which starts on 22 January.

Again I've used wisteria wonder card and ink for this card,  I've combined it with some whisper white and the paper is from the Fan Fare DSP.  I've added a little weaving to the bottom right hand corner of the card and finished it off with some gems.  I used the doily die and stamped the sentiment on top, again this is using the Vintage Verses stamp set.

I have managed to secure a new venue for my classes, these will now be held at Artfuel,  Portland Place in Doncaster.  Classes cost £8 or are free if you make an order of £30 or over.  Check out my classes tab on this blog for more details.

Sale a brations Sneak peek 5

Well this is going to be a bit of a flying visit, My son Scotty is 9 today! We are busy preparing for his birthday party, which he is very excited about.  I can't believe he's 9 already time has flown!

So here's today's offering

Quite a simple card to make yet very effective, you could stamp a sentiment inside, I didn't do this as it's a card for someone at work and we needed plenty of space for everyone to sign it.  It's just topped off with a little belly band which has the main sentiment on it.  Again the stamp was taken from the vintage verses set.  I've used whisper white card and stamped in rich razzleberry ink.  There is a tutorial on how to make this card here.

Sale a bration sneak peek 3

Hope you are all well, here is my final offering from the feeling sentimental stamp set, available during the sale a bration period.

I think out of the set that this is my favourite stamp.  Again I've used whisper white, raspberry ripple and crumb cake card, I've again used the polka dot DSP and stamped the image and sentiment in real red.  Of course I added some bling to the corner of the card.  Once again this is a six by six card.

Right I'm off now to try and make an angry birds card for my son who will be 9! (I can hardly believe how fast time has gone by) on Saturday.
