Pop Up Card

Hi there hope you are well today.  I'm going to share with you a cute pop up card the idea for which was given to me by my lovely upline Monica Gale.

Heres the front, I've stamped my own back ground onto the coastal cabana card using one of the smaller stamps from the starburst sayings stamp set, then added one of the bigger stamps with the sentiment on for my main image.
And here's the pop up bit in the middle
Bit of a closer look for you here.

Candle Card

So I'm going to show you how to make this candle card, it's larger than the ones you may have seen as the card part of the card is 6" x 6"

Cut a piece of coastal cabana 10 5/8" x 71/4"
Score this along its length at 3/8", 1", 2 1/2" 3 1/8"
Turn the card around and score at 3/4" and 6 1/2"
Cut off the marked excess edges

Cut the tabs as shown and using the bitty banners framelets cut an aperture in the middle as shown, cover this with acetate if you wish.
Fold over the scored part of your card to make the box for your tea lights then put this to one side.
Cut another piece of coastal cabana 6" x 8" score one end at 2"
Stick the folded end to your base card. Add your tea lights and seal the box
Decorate to your taste.  If you require any of the items used to make this card please click the links below which will take you directly to my online shop.

Happy Water Colour Tag

Following on from yesterdays post I thought I'd make a matching tag to go with the card, it's very simple and very quick to make.
You will need;
Scalloped Tag Punch
Happy Water Colour stamp set
Whisper White card
Coastal Cabana card and ink
Basic black ink

Cut a piece of Coastal Cabana card 2" x 5 1/2" and a piece of whisper white 1 3/4" x 5"
Punch both pieces of card using the scalloped tag punch
On the Whisper white piece stamp out the image of the poppy in basic balck then over stamp it with the paint stamp in Coastal cabana ink going down along your poppy without re-inking each time so that the paint mark gradually fades.
Glue your stamped image to your coastal cabana punched tag and add some coastal cabana ribbon
See told you it was quick and easy, if you'd like any of the products that I've used to make this then please click on the pictures below which will take you directly to my shop.

Happy Water Colour

Hello dear readers, I hope today finds you well.

Today's card uses the Happy water colour stamp set from the new spring mini catalogue.

Here's the card we're going to make;
The sentiment you see come in with the Happy water colour set.

You will need;
Happy water colour stamp set
Coastal cabana ink and card
Basic black ink

Take an A4 piece of coastal cabana card and cut it in half along the long side (at 14.9cm) This should leave you with two pieces measuring 14.9 x 21 cm.
Take one of these and fold it in half creating a C6 card base
Take a piece of whisper white card and cut two pieces measuring 14.4 x 10 cm.
Take another piece of Coastal cabana and cut two pieces measuring 13.9 x 9.5cm and another whisper white and cut two pieces measuring 13.4 x 9cm.

Take one piece of white 14.4 x 10cm, coastal cabana 13.9 x 9.5 cm and white 13.4 x 9 cm and matt and layer these together and add to the inside of your base card.
On the piece of whisper white measuring 13.4 x 9 cm that you have left, stamp out one of the flowers from the happy water colour set in basic black ink.
Over stamp your image with the paint mark in coastal cabana ink, work your way down your image.  Do not re-ink your stamp as you want the paint mark to gradually fade.
Ad your sentiment to the bottom right hand corner of you card.

Now matt and layer this onto your remaining coastal cabana and whisper white card and add to the front of your base card.
