Peaceful Petals

Hi everyone

Today we're going to be making a card with the peaceful petals stamp set.  Now I'm not normally a flowery person but I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it.  It also comes with two sentiments.  I made a thank you card with this too just because I liked the look of it, reminds me of the beach. So here's today's card;
You will need;
Soft sky Card
Pacific Point ink
Whisper white card
Candy dots
Decorative label punch
Hardwood stamp
Basic Black Ink

Start with a C6 card base (A5 folded in half)
Cut 2 layers of whisper white card to 14.4 x 10cm and 2 layers of soft sky 13.9 x 9.5 cm.
Matt and layer one piece of whisper white and Soft sky and add these to the inside of your base card.
On the remaining layer of soft sky card stamp out the Hardwood stamp in pacific point ink.
Layer this onto your remaining piece of whisper white card and add them to the front of your card base.
Take one of the flowers from the peaceful petals stamp set and stamp out your image onto white card with black ink.  If you intend to colour your image using the Stampin write markers remember to stamp your image in stazon ink.
Colour your image.  I used spectrum noir colours TB3, LG2 and CT1.
Carefully cut out your image and add it to your base card.
Stamp out a sentiment in Pacific point ink on to white card and punch out using the decorative label punch.
Punch out another decorative label in soft sky and cut this in half.
Add these to either side of your punched out sentiment as shown below.
Add this to your base card with foam pads. Place 3 candy dots in the top right hand corner of your card.
Well hope you like today's offering, if you would like any of these products please click the pictures below which will take you directly to my shop.
