Springtime Hello!

With all this rain I thought we could all do with a touch of spring,  I've two cards to show you using the Spring time hello stamp set from the spring mini catalogue.

Both cards are the same but as the stamp set comes with two different flowers I decided to so a card in each.  As you can see it's just a simple C5 (half an A4 folded in half) sized card.  The base card is in soft suede then matt and layered with whisper white, then half matted and layered onto this is some crushed curry.  I ran the crushed curry through the honeycomb embossing folder, then stamped a couple of bees on to it.

The flower was stamped using stampin write markers in crushed curry and garden green then layered on top of a piece of soft suede.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny sentiments and is stamped in basic black then punched out with the word window then added to a punched out modern label in soft suede.

Here's the other card;

And a closer look at the flower;

Hope you like todays offering, if you would like to order any of these items please click on the pictures below

Blooming with kindness

I'm a big fan of Making Cards magazine, mostly because they give you lots of lovely free craft papers!  In February's edition there were also 3 stampin up cards to make designed by Deborah O'Donahue, I made two of them and this is the first.

It uses the Blooming with kindness stamp set, it's such a simple little card yet very effective and so easy to make, you could very quickly make a few of these for those unexpected birthdays.

The butterflies are punched out using the Bitty Butterfly punch in soft sky and  Soft Suede. I've also embossed the whisper white card with the honeycomb embossing folder.

Just a quick one today dear readers, hope you enjoy it

Say cheese please

Well I hope you are all enjoying this good friday morning, I was going to show you lovely makes from my class yesterday but I got there and the camera refused to work (my fault didn't realise it needed charging).

Instead I'm going to show you a card I made for a swap session I had with some fellow demonstrators

I really must change that grid paper lol, This uses the honey comb embossing folder,.  It's not very clear on the picture but I've stamped little bees in some of the hexagons, I've also used those lovely build a brads from the new spring mini catalogue.

And heres the inside

Hope these colours make you feel a little bit more spring like.
