It's begininning to look a lot like christmas

Well it is here any way, quick post today and a quick share, short and sweet.

I like this set it's quick and simple to use and needs the minimum of fuss, just my style.

I added a bit of glitter to the trees not so sure if you can see it so well in this snap, but it was meant to represent snow/frost on the bare branches.

I hope you like todays quick post

Four Feathers Bundle

Hello dear readers

I'm back after a lovely half term break and today sees the weather finally break here in deepest darkest Yorkshire.  There was actually a frost this morning! I had to get the scraper out on the car ready for the school run.

So onto today's card which uses the four feathers bundle, it's perfect for that simple classy kind of card.

I've used whisper white and soft sky and stamped the feather with the encore silver stamp pad.

The framelets that come in the bundle mean that there is no fussy cutting to do, perfect.
The sentiment uses the teeny tiny sentiments set and the word window and modern label punches, I hope you like it, the items used are listed below.

Wondrous Wreath

Hello Readers

It's looking a bit sunny today in deepest darkest Yorkshire after yesterdays full day of rain.  I'm also off to get some new glasses so my projects should now be even better because I'll be able to see them lol.

Today I want to share with you a card made with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and framelets.  Have you started your Christmas cards yet?  I always have these good intentions of starting them early then end up rushing them all at the very last minute.

So onto today's card

I've gone with traditional colours on this one, but the wreath is so versatile, you know from yesterday that I did this wreath in autumnal colours, I've also see it in light blues and greys and it looks stunning.

Here's a closer look, I adore that Filigree frame embossing folder, I can see me using it alot.

Well I hope you like today's offering and if you would like to purchase any of the items used to make this card please click on the links below.

Wedding RSVP

Just a quick post today as it's half term and time needs to be spent with number one son.  I'm going to share with you an RSVP I made for a wedding celebration I'd been invited to.

It quite simply uses the heart punch to make a tux and dress front.  I embossed the black part of the tux with the lattice folder and the dress with the petals a plenty.
Heres a closer look, you can just about see the pearls I put on the shirt for buttons. There are lots of different tutorials for this on you tube if you'd like to have a bash yourself.

Christening card

Hello dear readers. Sorry about going missing in action again last week but events caught up with me as they do lol.  Today I'd like to share with you a christening card that I was asked to make by a friend at work.
It was very simple to make using the oval framelets and the lattice die to make the cross.  I used the boho blossoms to make the little blue flowers and the build a bird punch to make the leaves.  The sentiment stamp is from Little Claire.
I also decorated the inside ot the card with some stamps I got free with a craft magazine.  My friend loved it. I hope the recipient did too.
